VENTURA (AP) - A fierce wind has damaged two neighborhoods in the city of Ventura and witnesses believe it was a tornado.
Police Sgt. Jack Richards says the possible tornado hit about 1:30 p.m. Thursday and traveled at least one mile, knocking tree branches onto houses, lifting a car into a tree and moving boats of trailers.
Richards says no one has been reported injured.
The National Weather Service has not confirmed it was a tornado.
