Roger Hedgecock - Weekdays, 3pm - 6pm

Roger Hedgecock helped launch KFWB’s NEWS TALK format in September 2009 and hosts the important afternoon drivetime shift.

Informative, entertaining and radio-active, The Roger Hedgecock Show has been empowering listeners to act for more than 20 years. Roger inspires people to action and holds them accountable for their own outcomes. Different from the traditional talking commentator, Roger actually educates people in how to make a difference. His political experience, which includes Mayor of San Diego, provides listeners with first-hand accounts from inside government; his engaging personality and straight talk repeatedly turns passive listeners into activists.

Roger is an exclusive columnist for World Net Daily and author of the recently published three book series: The 2008 Conservative Voter’s Field Guide: #1 Immigration, #2 The War and #3 Healthcare.

For two decades The Roger Hedgecock Show has dominated talk radio ratings on KSDO-AM and KOGO-AM in San Diego. In addition, for 10 straight years, Roger has

been named one of the Top 100 talkers in America by Talker’s Magazine. Roger is a
frequent guest on Hannity & Colmes, The O’Reilly Factor, FOX News Channel, CNN’s Lou Dobb’s Show and MSNBC.

In 1994 when Republicans took control of the House, Roger and his audience insisted on making the Contract with America a reality and not just a platform. In the winter of 1995 over 200 listeners paid their own way to join Roger’s broadcast and lobby the new Congress in Washington, D.C. This event became known as “Hold Their Feet To The Fire” and continues to take place annually. In 2008 more than 40 other talk hosts from across the nation joined Roger to participate in Hold Their Feet to the Fire, putting pressure on Congress to protect our borders and stop illegal immigration.

After 9/11, Roger continued his tradition of being radio-active when he and his listeners started Homefront San Diego, which continues to provide thousands of military families with cars, furniture, food and other assistance.
